Kindergarten Registration

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Please scan and email the following documents to Alanna O’Handley at ohandleya@sbs-nj.org:

• Original birth certificate with a raised seal issued by a government agency
• Parent ID (driver's license/official photo ID) 
• Proof of residency (A utility bill, tax bill, lease, or purchase contract that has your Shrewsbury address)
• Physical Examination - All students are required to submit a physical examination that has been completed within the past 365 days. This must be provided before the first day of school. Health requirements can be found here The NJ Universal Health Form can be accessed by clicking here.

As per Policy 5112, any student registering for kindergarten must be 5 years of age on or before October 1st of the school year they are entering.

If you have a neighbor who has an eligible Kindergarten-aged child, please pass this important information along to them.

1st-8th Grade Registration

1. Complete the Open Registration Form in Genesis. Be sure to choose the correct school year that you are registering for.
2. Scan and email the following documents to Alanna O’Handley at ohandleya@sbs-nj.org:
   • Your child's official birth certificate with a raised seal issued by a government agency
   • Your driver’s license or government issued photo ID with your Shrewsbury address
   • A utility bill, tax bill, lease, or purchase contract that has your Shrewsbury address
   • Health Record Form 
   • Home Language Survey
   • Census
