Shrewsbury Borough School District Moves Forward with Referendum Work

Spring has arrived in Shrewsbury, which means the weather is warming up, everything is blooming, and we are laying a new foundation for construction for our referendum work.

May is always an exciting month and that is the case in our community. Work has been completed on the construction of our new preschool playground. Our pre-K and kindergarten students are already enjoying recess outside on the new equipment.

In addition, EPIC Management, the project management firm which oversees the referendum work, has been preparing for a busy summer of construction. The firm has been grading and excavating the property to prepare for the construction of the addition which will house the three new classrooms and a dedicated lunchroom. In addition, fencing around the construction site has been installed for safety and security purposes.

We are excited to share this update with you and plan to provide regular updates as work progresses throughout the summer.
